Generalization of general helices and slant helices
In this work, we use the formal definition of $k$-slant helix cite{ali2} to obtain the intrinsic equations as well as the position vector for emph{slant-slant helices} which a generalization of emph{general helices} and emph{slant helices}. Also, we present some characterizations theorems for $k$-slant helices and derived, in general form, the intrinsic equations for such curves. Thereafter, fr...
متن کاملB-FOCAL CURVES OF BIHARMONIC B-GENERAL HELICES IN Heis
In this paper, we study B-focal curves of biharmonic B -general helices according to Bishop frame in the Heisenberg group Heis Finally, we characterize the B-focal curves of biharmonic B- general helices in terms of Bishop frame in the Heisenberg group Heis
متن کاملGeometric Analysis of Alloreactive HLA α-Helices
Molecular dynamics (MD) is a valuable tool for the investigation of functional elements in biomolecules, providing information on dynamic properties and processes. Previous work by our group has characterized static geometric properties of the two MHC α-helices comprising the peptide binding region recognized by T cells. We build upon this work and used several spline models to approximate the ...
متن کاملGeneralized Helices and Singular Points
In this paper, we define X-slant helix in Euclidean 3-space and we obtain helix, slant helix, clad and g-clad helix as special case of the X-slant helix. Then we study Darboux, tangential darboux developable surfaces and their singular points. Especially we show that the striction lines of these surfaces are singular locus of the surfaces.
متن کاملStrength of hydrogen bonds in helices
> < ABSTRACT: The intramolecular helix backbone C O H— N hydrogen Ž . bonding energies in poly L-alanine a helices have been estimated both in vacuum and in an aqueous environment using the parameter sets of five of the most commonly used force fields for modeling biomolecules, namely AMBER, CHARMM, ECEPP, GROMOS, and OPLS. The relative capabilities of these force fields in describing the H-bon...
